Some note about above message format:

  • In the above message format, 133 is the command code for Sawa to do an international balance transfer,
  • Just after code 133, we have *MOBILE NUMBER WITH COUNTRY CODE* and it is the recipient’s international mobile number(with preceded country code)
  • And after *MOBILE NUMBER WITH COUNTRY CODE*, we have AMOUNT CODE. That is a reference number that represents the amount to transfer from your STC Sawa to other countries’ number. There are different AMOUNT CODE for a different amounts of value.
  • The way to check different AMOUNT CODE is presented below in the next heading with an example.
  • And also please note that you must include an asterisk(*) symbol. And also there is not any space between any characters in the above message format.

After filling up the correct mobile number and amount code in the above message format and after you sent it to 801500, you will get a confirmation message. To that message, you should reply by sending “Y” to confirm the transaction after verifying the transaction details. After a few seconds of your confirmation reply, your balance will be transferred to your respective country’s mobile number.

So, transferring mobile balance from STC to other countries is that simple.

In the above message, we can see 4 different AMOUNT CODE. These codes are – 1 is for 100NRP, 2 is for 200NPR, 3 is for 300NPR, and 4 is 400NPR, so 1,2,3,4 represents AMOUNT CODE. We will use these codes in – 133*MOBILE NUMBER WITH COUNTRY CODE*AMOUNT CODE message format while transferring a balance.

For Eg.- If you want to transfer 100NRP to Nepal, you just write a message- 133*+977XXXXXXXXXX*1, here 1 represents 100NRP. And also replace XXXXXXXXXX with the Nepali receiver number and sent it to 801500.

Step 2: After a few times, you will get a confirmation message for this transaction from the service provider. This confirmation message includes the Nepali amount that you are going to transfer, the receiver’s mobile number, and  Saudi Arabian Riyal which you will be charged.

So, confirm the number and amount that you are going to send. If everything is correct, reply to the message with ‘Y‘ to confirm the transaction.
